§ Mr. GOULDasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that a lady, M. H., was placed in Camberwell House on the petition of her husband in December, 1903; that this lady was discharged in August, 1929, but is debarred from taking legal action against the doctors who certified her owing to the Statute of Limitations, which requires such action to be taken within six years of certification; and whether he will introduce legislation to prevent persons in such cases being deprived of redress on such grounds?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI cannot properly comment upon an individual case, but I understand that the effect of a decision in the House of Lords is as stated by my hon. Friend. I cannot, however, undertake at present to introduce legislation on the point.
