§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONI assume that the hon. Member refers only Lo motor cars and heavy motor cars as distinct from locomotives. The maximum limits of length, width and weight for such vehicles are prescribed under the various Orders governing the construction and use of motor cars which have been made from time to time under the Motor Car Acts, and I am sending him a short statement of their principal requirements. The enforcement of the regulations is a matter for the police authorities.
