§ Mr. LANSBURYI am pleased to be able to announce that it has now been decided that, as from April next, the workmen required, to the number of approximately 1,500 in London and 100 in Edinburgh, for the maintenance and repair of buildings under the Office of Works shall be directly employed by the Department, instead of, as hitherto, through contractors.
