§ Mr. CLYNESDuring the period 1st January to 30th June, 1930, 199,814 aliens, exclusive of transmigrants, were given leave to land in the United Kingdom. The corresponding figures for 1927, 1928, and 1929 were, 171,831, 186,556, and 192,610, respectively.
