§ Mr. W, GRAHAMThe total number of passengers who left ports in the United Kingdom for places out of Europe during the 12 months ended 31st May, 1930, in respect of whom the lists of passengers showed that the persons concerned were leaving permanent residence in the United Kingdom and intending to take up permanent residence overseas (i.e., were emigrants) was298W 127,165. This total included 17,558 children under 12 years of age and 56,688 males and 52,919 females of 12 years of age or more.
