§ Mr. AMMONI would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given on 12th November last [OFFICIAL REPORT, column 1716] by the Financial Secretary to the Treasury to the hon. and gallant Member for Epsom (Commander Southby). The reply applies to all rates of pay, including retired pay, of officers of the Navy, Army, and Air Force.
