Duchess of ATHOLLasked the Secretary of State for India (1) whether compensation is being provided by Provincial Governments for policemen permanently disabled in the recent civil disturbances; and, if so, on what basis it is being given;
(2) if he will ascertain whether financial provision has been made by Provincial Governments, and, if so, on what basis, for the dependants of policemen who have lost their lives owing to the recent civil disturbances in India?
