§ Mr. LUNNParticulars of stocks of butter held in cold storage have been collected by the Empire Marketing Board at fortnightly intervals over a period of six months, and aggregate figures have2158W been published regularly in the Weekly Dairy Produce Notes issued by the Board. The figures are furnished voluntarily by proprietors of public cold stores, and are estimated to represent fully 90 per cent. of the total stocks of butter held in cold storage in this country. The Empire Marketing Board has not yet been able to arrange for the collection of figures of fruit in cold storage of a sufficietly representative character to warrant publication.
