§ Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEThe total amount guaranteed under the Trade Facilities Acts in respect of loans floated by sugar-beet factory companies was £2,206,800. Of this amount £489,100 has been repaid to date by the companies concerned and £295,400 has been paid by the Treasury in fulfilment of its guarantees, leaving £1,422,300 outstanding.
