asked the Secretary for Mines the number of accidents, fatal and non-fatal, for the year 1929 in the Hilton Main Colliery as compared with the three previous years?

The figures are as follow:

1925 … 3 370
1926 … 2 237
1927 … 4 309
1928 … — 329
1929 … 7 365

The figures for 1926 were affected by the long stoppage in that year, and those for 1925 have accordingly been added for purposes of comparison.
