§ Brigadier-General CLIFTON BROWNasked the Minister of Health whether 1198W he has received a petition from the Woodley Vagrancy Protest Committee protesting against his sanctioning the erection of a tramp clearing-house in a picturesque spot in their midst without a public inquiry to hear their objections; whether he is aware that the Wokingham Rural District Council are refusing to permit the erection of this vagrancy ward under a Town Planning Order, 1922; and whether, in view of these and other difficulties which have arisen about water supply, he will now appoint a public inquiry into the whole matter?
