HC Deb 23 January 1930 vol 234 c348W
Sir K. WOOD

asked the First Commissioner of Works whether his attention has been called to the need of a properly equipped County Court for Woolwich, and the the present Court is in many respects unsuitable for the administration of justice; and whether he is prepared to take steps to deal with the matter?

Mr. LANSBURY

The defects of the Court accommodation in the Old Town Hall have been the subject, of investigation, and certain minor improvements were effected in 1928. Negotiations with the borough council, the owners of the premises, are at present in progress, and it is hoped that further improvements will be proceeded with in the near future.
