§ Mr. KIRKWOODasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he has any estimate showing what was the amount of money obtained in Scotland last year from Income and Super-tax payers?
§ Mr. P. SNOWDENThe net receipt of Income Tax in Scotland in the year ended 31st March, 1929, amounted to £15,610,432. I regret I am unable to apportion the receipt of Super-tax for the whole country so as to show how much was paid by taxpayers resident in Scotland.
