Mr. A. HENDERSONNegotiations with the object of finding a suitable building as a permanent Embassy are still proceeding. A representative of the Office of Works is at present in Moscow in connection with them.

Mr. A. HENDERSONI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply given on Monday last to the hon. Member for Eastbourne (Mr. Marjoribanks). One consular officer is now under instructions to proceed to Russia, and the appointment of one further officer is under consideration.
