§ Mr. MARLEYasked the Secretary of State for India whether he has been in 936W communication with the Government of India regarding the proposed conference of the Indian princes and people; whether he is in a position to inform the House about the constitution and terms of reference of this conference; whether his attention has been drawn to the Muslim demand in India that no particular view should be given prepondering representation; and whether he can give any assurance that all parties, groups, and interests, including minorities, will be adequately represented at the conference?
