§ Miss BONDFIELDIt would perhaps be more convenient if I give the names of local authorities in London who have agreed to undertake works for the relief of unemployment involving the employment of a proportion of transferred labour. They are as follow: The Borough Councils of Finsbury, Hackney, Hammersmith, Stoke Newington and Wandsworth, and the London County Council. Such works have also been undertaken by the Lee Conservancy Board, the Metropolitan Water Board, the Port of London Authority and the Thames Conservancy Board.
