§ Mr. AMMONParticulars of the rates of pay of naval officers to come into operation on 1st July next will shortly be published. I may, however, state, for the information of the hon. Member, that rates of full pay, unemployed pay, half pay and retired pay will be affected, but not allowances. The reduction in the standard rates will be approximately 7 per cent. instead of 6 per cent. as at present.
