§ Lieut.-Colonel FREMANTLEasked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been drawn to the researches at Sheffield University, now being published by the Medical Research Council, into the effect of a proper dietary for expectant mothers and for children in the prevention of dental decay; and whether he will issue to maternity and child-welfare centres a paper of simple information and guidance for those attending such centres?
§ Mr. GREENWOODThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, it is the common practice at these centres to give advice as to a correct dietary, including instruction with a view to the prevention of dental decay, and as at present advised I do not consider it necessary to issue any special paper on this subject.
