§ Mr. LANSBURYI am aware that, having regard to weather conditions during the past 12 months and the continuous heavy play over the courses, their condition is not perhaps quite as good as is usually the case. The permanent staff is adequate for the normal maintenance of the courses and no additional labour can be usefully employed at the present time.
