§ Mr. P. SNOWDENYes, Sir. The resolution has been received and acknowledged. It is not, of course, the first communication I have received on this subject. For example, the Manchester Chamber of Commerce wrote to me on 24th December last expressing gratitude for the statement which I had made on this subject on the previous day.
