§ Mr. KELLYasked the Postmaster-General whether consideration has been given to the laying of another cable from the mainland to the Isle of Man?
§ Mr. LEES-SMITHThe existing cables contain sufficient spare capacity to handle the traffic for some time to come and a new cable is not, therefore, yet required. The development of this, as of other cable routes, is kept constantly under observation, and additional capacity is provided in anticipation of traffic growth.
