HC Deb 04 December 1930 vol 245 c2411W
Sir W. DAVISON

asked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the state of the law as it affects betting, sweepstakes, raffles, and lotteries, he will appoint a committee to consider and report what amendments are necessary?

Mr. SHORT

My right hon. Friend is not in a position to add anything to the answer which he gave to questions by the hon. Members for Newcastle-on-Tyne North (Sir N. Grattan-Doyle) and the Moseley Division of Birmingham (Mr. Hannon) on 27th November last.
