§ Mr. MANDERasked the Minister of Labour what progress has been made with the setting up of the Trade Board in the catering trades; the numbers likely to be affected thereby; and whether any further applications for trade boards have been received?
§ Miss BONDFIELDI expect to issue a Notice of Intention to apply the Trade Boards Acts to the catering trade at a very early date. I am now considering the scope of the proposed Special Order. I cannot give an estimate of the numbers likely to be affected in advance of the publication of the Notice. In reply to the last part of the question, I have before me a request to apply the Trade Boards Acts to the fustian cutting industry.
