§ Mr. KELLYasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will state whether the policy of the Government with regard to the question of minorities 926W at the forthcoming meetings of the Assembly of the League of Nations has now been decided; and whether any member of the delegation is specially appointed to place an item on the agenda appointing a commission of inquiry into the working of the minority treaties or a permanent minorities commission?
§ Mr. DALTONThe important and difficult question of minorities has been very carefully considered by His Majesty's Government, and the suggestions to which my hon. Friend refers in the second part of his question have not been overlooked. But it is not customary nor, I think, desirable for His Majesty's Government to make a public announcement of the course which will be adopted by the Delegation at the forthcoming Assembly of the League of Nations.
