§ Miss BONDFIELDComparing 7th April, 1930, with 8th April, 1929, the number of persons on the registers of the Salford Employment Exchange showed an increase of 4,316, and the number on the registers of Employment Exchanges in the Birmingham area an increase of 12,866.
