HC Deb 15 April 1930 vol 237 cc2744-5W
Mr. BLINDELL

asked the Postmaster-General how many rural post offices and railway stations in the Idol and Division of Lincolnshire have public telephones; the number at present without such facilities; the number of public telephones installed in the Division during 1929; and the number he proposes to provide during the present year.

Mr. LEES-SMITH

There are 41 rural post offices and railway staticns in the Holland Division. Of these 25 were provided with call offices before 1929. A further 11 were provided last year, and I propose to instal another Eve. As a result, every rural post office and railway station in the Holland Division will be provided with a call office.
