HC Deb 15 April 1930 vol 237 cc2759-60W
Mr. D. G. SOMERVILLE

asked the President of the Board of Trade the exact terms of the proposal adopted at the League of Tariff Truce Conference; how many countries signed it; whether it needs ratification; whether it can come into force without a fixed number of ratifications; and, if not, how many are required?

Mr. W. GRAHAM

I would refer the hon. Member to the Command Paper which was presented to Parliament on the 8th instant, containing the text of the documents resulting from the recent preliminary Conference with a view to concerted economic action. He will also find a convenient summary in the Board of Trade Journal of 3rd April, of which I am sending him a copy.
