I am sending the hon. and gallant Member a tabular statement containing the information asked in the remainder of the question.
§ Mr. SINKINSONasked the Secretary of State for Scotland the total number of houses repaired under the Rural Housing Act in Berwickshire and Haddingtonshire, respectively, and the total Government grants expended thereon?
Mr. ADAMSONAs at the 31st March, 1930, the total numbers of houses repaired under the Housing (Rural Workers) Act in Berwickshire and East Lothian were 126 and 468 respectively. The total grants paid as at the same date were £9,891 in Berwickshire and £43,400 in East Lothian.
