§ Mr. PRICEasked the Minister of Pensions whether he will take an early opportunity to pass an Act repealing Section 5 of the War Pensions Act, 1921, and thereby remove the anxiety of many ex-service men who fear that their position in regard to claims of more than seven years standing may not he maintained unless sanctioned by legislation?
§ Mr. F. O. ROBERTSI would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave to the hon. and gallant. Member for Hexham (Colonel Clifton Brown) on 26th November last, of which I am sending him a copy. I would add that there is no reason for such anxiety on the part of ex-service men, as is suggested in this class of grant, any more than in that of any other similar State grant to which public faith has been pledged.
