HC Deb 31 October 1929 vol 231 c342W
Captain AUSTIN HUDSON

asked the Minister of Health whether he has yet concluded his inquiries into the pollution of the River Lee; and, if so, what action he proposes to take?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I have had an investigation made. The nature of the stream makes the pollution problem difficult in this case. There has been an improvement, but the conditions are still not satisfactory. I propose to confer with the authorities concerned.
