asked the Minister of Health whether there are still any casual wards in England where heating is not provided in the winter; and, if so, will he give the reason?

Mr. GREENWOOD

Yes, Sir. There are at present three such wards. I understand that in these cases it is a matter of uncertainty whether the wards will continue to be used as casual wards.
