HC Deb 14 November 1929 vol 231 c2245W
Brigadier-General WRIGHT

asked the Postmaster-General whether the provision of public telephone facilities at Lee Moor, in the parish of Shaugh, Devon-shire, has now been taken in hand; and if he is aware that the provision of this telephone service was first asked for in a letter addressed to the Postmaster-General on the 10th of May last?

Mr. LEES-SMITH

The provision of a telephone call office at Lee Moor is de-pendent on the establishment of a new exchange at Shaugh Prior. This exchange will be opened on the 14th November and the circuit for the call office at Lee Moor will, I hope, be completed this month.
