asked the Minister of Agriculture if he will state the headings under which the Empire Marketing Board grant of £40,000 described as for the marketing of home agricultural products is being used?

Dr. ADDISON

The main headings are (i) investigations into commodity marketing, (ii) the preparation and printing of reports on these investigations, (iii) demonstrations of improved methods of marketing at agricultural shows, (iv) preparation and printing of marketing leaflets, (v) displays of home produce at exhibitions, (vi) grants-in-aid of marketing experiments, and (vii) grants to universities, colleges, etc., in aid of marketing studies.
