HC Deb 12 November 1929 vol 231 c1763W
Captain BOURNE

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether the ex-service civilians who were temporarily employed at the Didcot depot were dealt with as entitled to compensation for in juries received during the course of or arising out of their employment under the Workmen's Compensation Acts; and, if not so dealt with, can he state on what terms such compensation was awarded?

Mr. SHINWELL

Generally speaking ex-service civilians employed at the depot at Didcot would be dealt with in case of injury under the Workmen's Compensation Acts, but, if the hon. and gallant Member will be good enough to let me know the specific cases which he has in mind, I shall be happy to inquire into them.
