asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether persons employed as temporary writers in the naval armament depots are en titled to a month's notice if, on reaching 60 years of age, their services are no longer required; and, if so, will he give Admiralty Fleets Order number and date?

The answer is in the affirmative. The procedure was laid down in Admiralty Fleet Order 2176 of the 4th August, 1922.
