HC Deb 07 November 1929 vol 231 c1293W
Captain CROOKSHANK

asked the Minister of Agriculture if he can make any statement regarding the future of the Royal Veterinary College?

Mr. HASLAM

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the Report of the Departmental Committee on the reconstruction of the Royal Veterinary College, which states that the college is in a state of dilapidation and that the work is being carried on under conditions which are a national disgrace, he is able to state what action the Government propose to take?

Dr. ADDISON

My right hon. Friend has received the Report of the Committee which was appointed by his predecessor to consider the whole problem of the reconstruction of the Royal Veterinary College. The Report raises important and difficult questions which are now receiving his careful consideration, and a further statement on the subject will be made in due course.
