§ Mr. LUNNThe following is a summary of schemes put in hand under the Palestine and East African Loans Act since it was amended in July last:
£ Improvements at Dar-es-Salaam Harbour, Tanganyika 180,000 Construction of a railway from Manyoni on the Tanganyika Central Railway to the Iramba plateau 565,000 In addition, it has been agreed that the whole cost of the Zambesi Bridge and connected schemes, estimated to amount to over £3,000,000 in all, shall be met from Guaranteed Loan.
