HC Deb 07 November 1929 vol 231 c1253W
Mr. ALBERT LAW

asked the Post master-General if he is aware of the delay in the delivery of a morning mail at Okehampton, due to it being kept at Exeter for three hours; and will he take action to remove the grievance?

Mr. LEES-SMITH

The time of arrival of the north mail at Okehampton is dependent upon the train connections at Exeter. It is proposed to alter the times of delivery so that the letters may be distributed as soon as possible after the arrival of the earliest available train.
