§ Sir R. GOWERasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will consider the desirability of granting to good character men serving in the Royal Air Force the same privilege of walking out in plain clothes as is accorded to soldiers serving in the Regular Army?
§ Mr. MONTAGUEThe whole question of wearing of plain clothes by airmen has been recently reviewed, and after very careful consideration it was decided that no change should be made in the policy hitherto adopted. I am advised that there is no reason to suppose that the present rules are contrary to the general feeling in the Royal Air Force.
