asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will state the number of Dominion and Indian Army officers receiving training at the Royal Air Force Staff College at Andover, and the contributions received in respect of these students from the Dominions concerned and India during the last three years?

The numbers of Indian Army and Dominion officers who received training at the Royal Air Force Staff College are as follow:

No charge is made against the Government of India in respect of Indian Army officers trained at the Royal Air Force Staff College in view of the provision by that Government of reciprocal free training at the Staff College Quetta. Payment is made by His Majesty's Governments in Canada and in Australia at the rate of £400 a year in respect of each officer under training. The actual receipts during the period covered by the three financial years beginning on 1st April, 1926, and ending 31st March, 1929, were as follow:
