TREVELYANThere are 58 local education authorities who, on the latest available figures, will for 1928–9 receive, under Article 2 of Grant Regulations No. 1, a grant of less than 50 per cent. and who will, therefore, receive, under Article 5, an additional sum to bring their total grant up to the statutory minimum of 50 per cent. I am sending my hon. Friend a list of the names of the local education authorities.
