asked the President of the Board of Trade the total exports, including re-exports, to Russia from Great Britain, Germany, France, and the United States for the calendar years 1923, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927, and 1928, quoted from the Government returns of Great Britain, Germany, France, and the United States, and expressed in British currency?

Notes.—(a) Conversions from the original currencies to sterling have been made at the average quoted rates of exchange.

(b) The figures for Germany relate to the value of the "special" exports only. Separate statistics of the value of "general" exports from Germany to Russia in these years are not available.

(c) Particulars not yet available. The value of the "special" exports from Prance to Russia in 1928 was £1,403,000.

(d) Value of exports (including re-exports) to European Russia only in thin year. In 1927 the value of the total exports to Asiatic Russia was £172,000.
