§ Colonel ASHLEYA statement embodying such details cannot be embodied in a reply to a Parliamentary question, but much information on the subject will be found in the Annual Reports on the Administration of the Road Fund. It should be observed that many schemes are submitted to my Department in a preliminary form, and come before me at successive stages of amendment as the result of further consideration and review.
