§ Mr. BETTERTONAt 25th February, 1929, there were 1,105 insured men aged 18 to 64 classified as belonging to the slate quarrying and mining industry recorded as unemployed in Great Britain. Of this number 654 were wholly unemployed and 451 were temporarily stopped.
