HC Deb 04 March 1929 vol 226 c45W
Mr. A. WILLIAMS

asked the Minister of Agriculture what work has been done by the Pig Industry Council?

Mr. GUINNESS

During the last nine months, the Pig Industry Council have met constantly, and I anticipate that their thorough deliberations on various problems of importance to farmers will shortly bear fruit. As my hon. Friend may be aware, the Council is working by means of Committees which are, respectively, considering problems of breeding, feeding, management, diseases, marketing and, lastly, assembly and grading.
