§ Mr. N. BUXTONI am glad to be able to announce that it is the intention of the Government to provide financial assistance towards the cost of approved schemes of field drainage in this country. Details of the proposed scheme, which is designed for the relief of unemployment as well as for the benefit of agriculture, are being prepared and will be announced as soon as possible.
