§ Sir R. GOWERasked the Minister of Health whether, having regard to the great importance to the community of the prevention and cure of mental deficiency, he will consider the desirability of appointing a Royal Commission or other suitable body to inquire into, inter alia, the causes of mental deficiency, its relationship to other abnormal mental conditions and social problems, and the question of its prevention and cure?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI will in due course give this matter the full and careful consideration which its importance demands.
