§ Mr. FOOTasked the Minister of Transport if, in the electricity schemes now in prospect, any provision has been made for the supply of electricity to the village of Millbrook, near Plymouth, in the County of Cornwall; and, if so, can he state the extent of the intended provision and when the facilities are likely to become available?
§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONI understand that an electricity scheme promoted by a local company makes provision for a supply to Millbrook where compulsory mains to the extent of about two-thirds of a mile are scheduled to be constructed within two years. The Electricity Commissioners inform me that they hope to be in a position shortly to make a Special Order in respect of this application, and submit it to me for confirmation.
