§ Mr. TURNERInquiry has been made into the accident at Braysdown Colliery and the provision of suitable gates or other rigid fences on pit cages is a statutory requirement which receives constant attention from His Majesty's Inspectors of Mines in the course of their ordinary duties in the Radstock coalfield and elsewhere. My Department is, however, again giving consideration to this question in all its aspects.
