§ Mr. MANDERasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether his attention 1103W has been called to the difficulties of the Wolverhampton Provisional Light Aeroplane Club, in view of the uncertainty as to the continuance of a subsidy; and will he take the matter into consideration?
§ Mr. MONTAGUEThis club appears to have been projected since the list of subsidised clubs was completed. I am not aware what difficulties may have arisen in connection with its formation, but in any case the money voted by the House this year does not admit of an increase in the number of subsidised clubs, as I explained in reply to the hon. Member for Hallam (Mr. Louis Smith) on 17th July.
